AGM Car Battery Buying Checklist for Start-Stop Fleets
Fleet buyers should not treat an AGM battery like a flooded starter battery. The DingFeng catalog unit is a matte black AGM case with an integrated foldable handle, yellow/white top label, vent plugs, and red (+) / blue (-) protective caps.
Write Ah, CCA, and hold-down type on the PO. Confirm the terminal is on the correct end for the vehicle list. AGM is sealed; do not request vent-tube kits meant for flooded batteries.
Because of weight, batteries usually move as their own pallet with cardboard edge boards. Do not stack fairings or windshields on this pallet.
If the same customer also buys alternators, keep the electrical set on one invoice but two pallets so a leaking acid incident cannot happen — AGM still needs isolation from painted motorcycle parts.
